Toboe sat at the water's edge and stared at his reflection. "Esto no puedo ser yo. (That can't be me.)" He whispered.

C:I walk in on the other side, leaving a reflection in the water

"Pero sir, es usted," (but sir, it is you)
*I look at him.*

Toboe jumps. "Oh. Bueno, no lo veo (Oh. Well, not the way I see it)." He barks. He turns his attention towards the other wolf looking at his/her reflection. He looked at the other wolf. "Por qué estas interesado es es, de todos modos? (Why are you so concerned in me, anyway?)"

"Bien, acabo de vagar cuando le oí, y decidido venir y hablar con usted. Estaba un poco oxidado en mi español, y necesité una cierta práctica." (Well, I was just wandering when I heard you, and decided to come and talk to you. I was a little rusty in my spanish, and I needed some practice.)

"Estoy un poco oxidado en mi Inglés. (I'm a little rusty in my spanish.)" Toboe laughed. "Cuál es tu nombre? La mía es Toboe. (What is your name? Mine is Toboe.)"

"Mi nombre es Marta. El español no es mi lengua original, pero puedo hablar casi cada lengua conocida por el hombre." (My name is Marta. Spanish is not my original language, but I can speak almost every language known to man.) *I laugh*
"¿Sabe usted hablar otras idiomas?" (Can you speak any other languages?)

"Interesante pregunta. (Interesting question.)" "Lamentablemente, no. Mis padres sólo me enseñaron español. Traté de aprender Inglés, pero no lo aprobaba. (Sadly, no. My parents only taught me spanish. I tried to learn english but, but they didn't approve.)" Toboe explained.

"Eso es demasiado malo. Podría ayudarle a aprender inglés, si usted desea, y muchas otras idiomas que usted quiere." (That is too bad. I could help you learn english, if you wish, and many other languages you want.)

"¿De veras? Siempre he querido aprender Inglés. Sólo aprendí un poco de él, sin embargo. (Really? I have always wanted to learn english. I only learned a little of it, though.)" Toboe said.

"Eso es bueno. Y sí, me placería enseñarle a inglés." (Thats good. And yes, I would be happy to teach you english.)

"Gracias. Eres un lobo de Niza. (Thank you. You are a nice wolf.)" Toboe thanked. He turned his head to the side. "T-h-a-n-k -y-o-u." He said, stretching the word.

"Muy bueno, Toboe." (Very good, Toboe.)

Toboe smiled. It would be good if he learned english at one year. "Engl-ish.. hard ..t-o lea-r-n." He paused in between words.

"Sí, está para alguien que hasn' t lo aprendió como primera lengua. Pero puede ser hecho." (Yes, it is for someone who hasn't learned it as a first language. But it can be done.)
