they had said 'leaders were to be respected' i snorted and held my self taller "precisely" my voice was soft but carried a strong sense of pride and leadership. my mind floated to my land of Palmyra... my desert and mountains... the blue, crisp mornings changing to fiercely hot afternoons and bone-chilling nights. the village of mountain wolves within my territory would often venture to the heart of my land, to the desert, to see my beauty. my mother would instruct many servants to wait upon me. and they did very willingly. my coat would be draped with gold jewelry and glittering gems that were fit for a highborn like myself. Palmyra.. the voice in my whispered. longing tore at my soul.

my ochre eyes flicked to Marta. ah, yes. i rememberes her, she was the old leader of the river pack. she, i remembered, ruled with an iron claw and gentle tooth. she was born of half nobility, and therefore, i was a higher rank than her. i smiled down at her, my willowy form seeming fragile among the rugged landscape that surrounded me " Marta" the word was dry upon my tongue

Azy sighed, it was horrible, he didnt like poems that he wrote. He thought
that he was nothing like a poet just a simle boy..
